Participant: Auntie Fa La La La La! (EmmeBrrrrrr)

Personal Statement

The name "Auntie Fa La La La La!" Denotes a disheveled, disorganized, but sincere desire to work for other people's well-being. In this case, to raise funds for the smooth operation of a home for recovery work for our community (518). And as the carol goes "Don we now our gay apparel... Fa la la... la la la...la la laaaaaa!"  whatever that means. 

I will wear a hat and some gay apparel, hoist a sign with a radical slogan such as: "Let's Love Our Neighbors Now!"  and then, in the true spirit of an Ithaca protest, I will march into Cayuga lake and march back out with as much diginty as I can muster. Ready to take one on the goosebump for 518!

I'm not thrilled about facing near freezing water, but I'm willing to fight for the right to recovery by any means necessary.  You decide. and remember, every vote counts.

Thanks for helping support 518. Of all the activism, I've been part of (and will continue to do) this is one protest I know will have a positive outcome.
